NOT NEARLY AS EXCITING AS OUR FUTURE!
When it comes to advertising, the medium is extremely important. Newspaper ads are black and white, and often go unnoticed. Billboards are flashy and attractive, but can't hold your attention for very long. Television ads are so captivating that their bright colors and motion will stop children in their tracks.
Back in 2003, Brian Nutt had the idea to bring the mesmerising nature of television advertising out into retail environments, taking advantage of spaces in which the audience was already 'captive'. Our first customers were banks and credit unions who wanted to capitalize on the long lines of customers standing idly in the lobby by placing marketing messages in front of them right at the point of purchase. Since then, we've graduated to an all-new sophisticated software platform and moved into 8,000 sq/ft of office space in Louisville's historic Butchertown Market. Our team has continued to grow by leaps and bounds, and we expect to have a workforce of over 30 employees by the end of 2010. Though much has changed about Captive Indoor Media in 6 years, our focus remains-- deliver digital signage solutions that are easy to install, use, and measure.
